The 5th China-Japan Joint Visualization Workshop was held online in conjunction with IEEE PacificVis 2022. Prof. Fujishiro served as the workshop chair and Dr. Hsiang-Yun Wu (Lecturer at St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences, Austria, a former Project Assistant Professor at our lab.) the co-chair. Dr. Naoko Sawada (OG, currently belonging to Mitsubishi Electric Corporation) provided an invited talk on the latest results of time-varying multidimensional data clustering. Dr. Sawada participated as a panelist in the panel discussions moderated by Dr. Wu. The number of registered participants reached 212, which is a new record of this workshop series. At the IPSJ CGVI Award Ceremony in 2024, three awards were given to members of the Fujishiro Lab
