Students taking the courses of Visual Computing IA/B & II, for which Prof. Fujishiro is co-responsible, took MEXT-supported CG-ARTS Certification Tests in 2023 and received a group award in the category of “Excellent Educational Institutions (Expert-level pass rate)” for 12 consecutive years as well as the MEXT Award (University category). Mr. Masahiro Aono (B3), who achieved the highest score among all the examinees in the second Image Processing Engineer Certification Test (Expert level) in 2023, received the MEXT Award (Individual). Mr. Daiki Kitayama (B3), who passed both the CG Engineer Certificate (Expert level) and the Image Processing Engineer Certificate (Expert level) with excellent grades and was awarded the title of CG Meister, received the Society Award.
