Starting today, Prof. Fujishiro will serve as the chief examiner of the Information Processing Society of Japan (IPSJ) SIG on Computer Graphics and Visual Informatics for two years.
Prof. Fujishiro was inducted into the IEEE Visualization Academy, which is known as a prestigious academy, the “visualization technology hall of fame” or the “visualization fellows assembly”, and will highlight the accomplishments of the research leaders of the field of visualization. In the board meeting of IPSJ (Information Processing Society of Japan) dated March 26th, 2021, Prof. Fujishiro was approved to be elevated to a 2020 fellow for his achievement of pioneering works and education/dissemination in the area of computer visualization.
